Afrifarms Foundation opens livelihoods programme cycle for women and youth

September 8, 2026 Afrifarms@2025 Afrifarms Foundation

Afrifarms Foundation, the Group’s social-impact platform, has opened a new programme cycle pairing food assistance with the capital, knowledge, and skills people need to build lasting economic independence.

The cycle combines business training, mentorship, practical skills development, and financing pathways, with priority participation for women, young people, and vulnerable families. Community resilience and locally driven development sit at the centre of the design.

“Relief matters, but relief alone is not the destination,” the Foundation team says. “The goal is durable livelihoods — families and communities that can stand on their own and participate in the economic opportunity the Group is building.”

Development partners aligned with poverty eradication and Zero Hunger are invited to get in touch through the partners page.
